The Russian Evilics group has allegedly infiltrated a website belonging to the US Defense Logistics Agency, specifically targeting ASSIST.
ASSIST serves as a critical platform for standardization management activities within the Defense Standardization Program (DSP), facilitating the development, coordination, distribution, and management of defense and federal specifications and standards. It encompasses a wide range of technical documents, including military handbooks, commercial item descriptions, and data item descriptions.
According to Evilics, they now have access to numerous documents categorized across levels A to F. The group has issued a warning, claiming their intent to expose the characteristics and vulnerabilities of various military units in Ukraine, raising concerns about potential security breaches and the compromised integrity of sensitive information.
