Cybersecurity company Human Security Inc. announced today that it has raised more than $50 million in additional growth funding capital to bolster its mission to protect the integrity of the digital world by ensuring every online interaction, transaction and connection is authentic, secure and human.
Founded in 2012, the company specializes in safeguarding digital platforms from sophisticated bot attacks and fraud. Its platform provides solutions to detect, prevent and mitigate automated threats, protecting advertising systems, web and mobile applications, and customer accounts from malicious activity.
The company says its Human Defense Platform verifies more than 20 trillion digital interactions weekly and gives more than 500 global brands telemetry for rapid, real-time response to even the most sophisticated threats.
The Human Defense Platform addresses security needs throughout the customer journey by providing solutions for advertising, application and account protection. The platform shields programmatic ads from bots, fraud and malvertising to deliver a safe and trustworthy environment for both buyers and sellers. The platform also secures applications against threats like account takeovers, scraping, and transaction abuse to foster a trusted user experience.
For accounts, the platform offers protection from automated attacks such as credential stuffing and brute-force attempts. It also safeguards against fake accounts and remediates compromised accounts, ensuring platform integrity and user trust.
To augment its offerings, the company’s Satori Threat Intelligence and Research Team drives product enhancements by feeding the Human Defense Platform and engineering teams with new and emerging bot threats by orchestrating disruptions and takedowns across cybersecurity and ad fraud.
The growth funding came from Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP, ClearSky Security, NightDragon Security and Vertex Venture Holdings Pte. Ltd.
The investment will accelerate Human’s platform growth by incorporating advanced artificial intelligence to enhance account protections and media security solutions like click fraud defense for brands and agencies. The funding will also be used to expand its engagement in the public sector, strengthen the platform’s capabilities and enhance protection throughout the customer journey.
“Human’s platform and its intelligent technology fused by unprecedented scaled signal intelligence help its clients protect against a wide range of sophisticated modern threats and empower them to make high-fidelity decisions,” aid Anthony Arnold, managing director of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Including the new funding, the company has raised around $300 million to date, including a round of $100 million in January 2022.
